Insurance and Payment Coordination
The Billing and Insurance Specialist verifies insurance coverage, processes all claims and payments, meets with all clients and families to discuss insurance plans and benefits and assists with payment arrangements if needed and ensures insurance collections. SKY is a participating provider with all major HMOs in Maryland (AETNA, CareFirst, CIGNA, MAMSI, etc), accepts Managed Medicaid and licensed to accept Medicare. Visa/MasterCard and personal checks are also forms of payments accepted by SKY.
