Dr. Mark Sementilli
Neuropsychologist

Dr. Mark Sementilli is a Maryland licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology.  Areas of clinical interests include the education, assessment, treatment and recovery following Acquired Brain Injury. 

Dr. Mark Sementilli received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from Kent State University in Ohio.  He then attended Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland where he obtained a Masters of Arts degree in clinical psychology. In 1988 Dr. Sementilli was awarded a Doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Florida Tech, following a one-year doctoral internship at Spring Grove Hospital Center.

He has practiced at Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital and University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Sementilli currently serves as Neuropsychologist for SKY Neurological Rehabilitation, an outpatient rehabilitation company that serves the Baltimore Washington Metropolitan Area where he provides education and training on how behavior and skills are related to brain structures and systems.  He also assesses and treats psychological, behavioral and adjustment issues following acquired brain injury and stroke.

In addition, this prominent neuropsychologist provides neuropsychological and rehabilitation consultation services for The Rehabilitation Center at Maryland General Hospital Brain Injury and Rehabilitation inpatient units. He also conducts neuropsychological evaluations for insurance carriers, case management agencies, Maryland Board of Nursing and Department of Rehabilitation Services. 

He is presently a participant in the Consortium of Practitioners and Service Providers for the Governor’s Brain Injury Employment Initiative program. He has previously presented as Keynote speaker at many conferences. He has also presented workshops, lectures and seminars sponsored by the Maryland Brain Injury Association, University of Maryland School of Social Work, Injured Workers Insurance Fund and various case management agencies, as well as Maryland’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.   Dr. Sementilli has contributed to nationally recognized journals, including the Archives of Neuropsychology, Mosby Year Book of Neuroradiology and Neurosurgery. 

Dr. Sementilli was awarded the Provider of the Year by the Brain Injury Association of Maryland.
