Ms. Felicia Sauls is an exceptional registered nurse whose strong interest in healthcare from an early age has laid the groundwork for her becoming such a phenomenal healthcare professional.

Ms. Sauls was born in Albany, New York and was educated in Dudley, NC. Immediately after high school, she began her healthcare career in the area of Emergency Medicine. Ms. Sauls received her certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in 1991 from Wayne Community College. She earned a Diploma in License Practical Nursing (LPN) in 1997 from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC. She completed the requirements for the Associates in Applied Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) in 1999.  She passed her Board of Nursing Exam on May, 1999. For four years, Ms. Sauls enjoyed a career as a traveling Emergency/Trauma Nurse in North Carolina and Maryland. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Applied Science in Management degree from Kaplan University Online Continuing Education Program.

In February 2002, she joined her sister, Sharon D. Sauls in the development of SKY Neurological Rehabilitation. Being a part of the Start-Up Team and Board of Directors, Ms. Sauls has held many positions; including Director of Referral Development, Clinical Facility Director and is now the Corporate Nurse and Director of Quality Management. Her ability to assess, research and analyze issues is a skill that she possesses and one that is often sought after and very much needed. Ms. Sauls also exhibits strengths in critical thinking and problem resolution. She masters attention to detail and demonstrates an intense effort in providing clarity when communicating results, policies and/or procedures. She worked closely with the Chief Operations Officer to lead the company to receive the highest level of recognition (three years) from the International Rehabilitation Commission for the SKY Brain Injury Program in 2007and in addition, SKY received Accreditation for its Stroke Specialty Program; the FIRST Outpatient Rehabilitation Company in the State of Maryland to receive this international distinction.

In addition to her position at SKY Neurological Rehabilitation, Ms. Sauls owns Your Nursing Needs Consulting Firm, a provider of nursing consultations and quality management assessments. Services provided range from conducting audits and qualitative analyses for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to providing nursing consultations to persons to determine the long term care nursing needs.
